Ball Head Chain Knocker for 13mm T-Slot Drain Cleaning Cables

The ball head chain knocker is a specially developed version of one of the most effective drain cleaning tools for removing hard deposits, scale build-up and grease from drain pipes. A spiral extension of approximately 20cm positions the 13mm T-Slot coupling well behind the working head. Combined with the ball head and the chain welded directly to the spiral, this design offers excellent flexibility, allowing the tool to pass safely through tight bends and changes of direction.

As the drain cleaning cable rotates, the chains are forced outwards against the pipe wall, where they effectively remove limescale, hard incrustations, grease, soap residues and other deposits. After intensive drain cleaning, the chain knocker is also ideal for the final cleaning of the pipe, removing any remaining deposits from the pipe walls.

The ball head chain knocker is available with either one or two chains, each offered with smooth chains or spike chains. The single-chain version is recommended for pipe diameters from 50mm, while the two-chain version is designed for pipe diameters from 75mm. Smooth chains are ideal for PVC and clay pipes, whereas spike chains are recommended for steel, cast iron and concrete pipes.

The ball head chain knocker features a 13mm T-Slot coupling and is specifically designed for 13mm drain cleaning cables with the T-Slot system. For optimum performance, it should be used with reinforced 13mm drain cleaning cables (Reinforced S or Reinforced S-SMK cables). It is compatible with the 13mm T-Slot system from rak and ROTHENBERGER and is suitable for use with cordless drills as well as the rak-39 and R550 drain cleaning machines, provided they are equipped with the appropriate 13mm clamping jaws.
