When You Need This Latch

Under continuous use, the spring in the push mechanism is the most heavily stressed component. If it fails, the case can no longer be closed reliably, while the latch itself usually remains undamaged. With this spare part you restore full function in just a few minutes, without replacing the entire case.

Replacement in Three Steps

• Drive out the existing hinge pin on the outside of the case.
• Remove the defective latch and fit the new latch.
• Drive the hinge pin back in – done.

The hinge pin stays with the case during replacement and is reused.
