The expansion cutter head version has cutting forks with carbide tips. It is therefore suitable for the hardest deposits and incrustations in pipes. Its expanding cutting head was specially developed in order to be able to process the different thicknesses of the incrustations on the walls in a variable manner - as often occurs with deposits. The spring pressure forces the cutting blades of the expanding cutter apart in the direction of the pipe wall. As a result, the blades are very well attached and work effectively. The tapered end in combination with the spring-loaded cutting blades also enables the pipe cleaning tool to be guided into narrower areas of deposits and to attack them optimally there. The hardened and Widia ("like diamond") tipped cutting blades of the expansion cutter are suitable for particularly hard deposits up to concrete. The cutting head should only be used with reinforced drain cleaning cables (S-drain cables, S-SMK spirals).
The expanding cutter with tungsten carbide trim is available in different diameters, which can be used to cover different working areas. The coupling is a bevelled 22mm T-Nut coupling for connection to 22mm pipe cleaning spirals. The expanding cutter with carbide is thus compatible with all T-Nut systems from ROWO, ROTHENBERGER, VIRAX, RIS, REMS, RIDGID, Rioned Victor , etc. The cutting blades are replaceable and available as spare parts.
