The manhole cover serves to secure manhole openings, manholes, street inlets when the manhole cover is removed for sewer cleaning, TV inspection or high pressure flushing. The grating protects against unintentional slipping, falling, tripping and also prevents material and equipment from falling into the manhole. For better visibility, the manhole cover is equipped with 2 flags. In addition, the manhole cover is equipped with an anti-slip device.
The outer diameter of 655mm is designed to cover the usual round manhole openings and street inlets. The load capacity is 100kg. The grate is made of galvanized steel and has a weight of 8 kg.
The manhole cover fulfils the protection against falling into shafts that are to be kept open, as required by UVV local drainage regulations.
