rak-41® drain and sewer cleaning machine – the largest rak® for industrial sewer work in large pipes

The rak-41® is the largest and most powerful machine in the rak® range, developed for heavy-duty and industrial drain cleaning. It runs 22mm or 32mm cables over lengths of 80m and more. Thanks to the external clamping jaw system, switching between the two cable sizes takes less than a minute.

The external jaws also make room for a continuous, one-piece hollow shaft inside the machine, through which the cable is guided. Neither moisture nor dirt can travel along the rotating cable into the interior of the rak-41®.

Thanks to this design, the rak-41® runs on permanently lubricated ball bearings that make later re-greasing unnecessary. The motor offers high starting and breakdown torque, which keeps the machine steady in operation. The shaft driving the cable turns at 520rpm. With 1.0kW of motor output at that speed, the rak-41® sits above comparable machines such as the R750 from ROWO or ROTHENBERGER® (0.9kW, 467rpm). That makes for efficient work with drain cleaning tools, in particular with chain knockers.

The drive lever on the longitudinal axis can be locked in place and then serves as a carrying handle, which makes the machine easier to move.

The rak-41® is used in pipes from 100 to 300mm with 22mm and 32mm cables. For smaller pipe diameters, the rak-39® and rak-40® are the machines of choice.
