Mini chain knocker for PVC pipe 40–50mm, for 6mm & 8mm shaft

This plain mini chain knocker is designed for cleaning and descaling pipes of 40mm to 50mm diameter. It breaks urine scale, lime scale and calcium deposits down into small particles rather than loosening them in large chunks – which helps prevent new blockages further down the line.

Suitable for PVC

The chain has no carbide tips on the cutting edge. It therefore works gently on the pipe wall and is suitable for PVC pipes and softer materials.

Working in small pipes

In small-diameter pipes the chain can find bends harder going. Guide it through a bend using a combination of speed and forward and backward movement.

Retrieving the chain is easier if you keep the drill running: the rotation helps the chain bounce through bends, and the rounded rear end of the hub glides more easily through the pipe on the way out.

We do not recommend the 6mm shaft in pipes smaller than 40mm.

Construction

The chain knocker is made from stainless steel and is therefore corrosion-resistant. It is mounted to the flexible shaft with set screws.
