Chain knocker for PVC pipe, optional drill head, for 6mm & 8mm shaft

This lightweight plain chain knocker is designed for thinner shafts and drive sources with lower torque. It removes blockages, roots and failed liners in PVC pipes.

Suitable for PVC

The chain has no carbide bits on the cutting edge. It therefore works gently on the pipe wall and is suitable for PVC pipes.

Lightweight construction

The chain links are made from 3.5mm stainless steel. The chain is therefore considerably lighter than the heavy-duty plain chain knocker and achieves effective cleaning with much less torque.

Optional drill head

Depending on your selection, the chain comes with or without a drill head. The Croco drill head fitted at the front cuts roots and grinds away failed liners in PVC pipes without damaging the pipe wall. Its diameter is 16mm.

Construction

The chain knocker is made from stainless steel to prevent oxidation and is adjustable: spreading the hubs further apart on the shaft lets you clean smaller pipe diameters with the same chain. Centrifugal force centres the tool inside the pipe, so the entire pipe wall is cleaned.

Use

• Fit the chain knocker to the flexible shaft with the set screws
• Insert it into the pipe and start cleaning
• Use the chain with a drill head for cutting roots and removing failed liners
• Flush the pipe after cleaning to carry out the debris
