Cordless drill adapter for flexible shafts

This adapter connects a flexible drain cleaning shaft to a drill or cordless screwdriver and transmits its drive to the shaft.

The shaft is clamped inside the adapter with set screws. The adapter itself has a 10mm hexagon shank and is clamped into the drill chuck. You then fit chains or other tools to the shaft and can start working.

The adapter is available for 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm shafts. Choose the version that fits your shaft.

Notes on operation

Use the adapter only with machines that have a torque limiter or slip clutch, and set it appropriately before starting work. If the tool jams inside the pipe, the limiter prevents the shaft from deforming or coiling up. Setting the torque limiter correctly is one of the most important steps when configuring a flexible shaft system.

Do not use the hammer function. Keep the rotating shaft away from clothing, jewellery and hair, and wear safety goggles and close-fitting gloves while working.
