Clear pipes from 70 to 100mm diameter with this robust 10mm drain cleaning cable with hand crank

• Sturdy drain cleaning cable: The 5m cable with a 10mm diameter has a counter-wound inner cable with a wire core, a funnel auger at the tip and a wooden crank. It is very stable and particularly suited to drainage runs, rainwater pipes, gutters, floor drains and soil stacks
• Working range: The optimum range is 70 to 100mm. With the 30mm funnel auger, pipes from 50mm can also be cleared in principle, although the auger then struggles to pass bends
• Interchangeable tool: The funnel auger removes blockages caused by leaves, sludge, paper, wet wipes, textiles, kitchen waste and other debris. It can be unscrewed and exchanged for a claw, a spear point or a ball head
• Modular: Optional extensions add 5m or 10m to the cable; the cable is also available for larger pipes with 12mm and 15mm diameters and larger tooling
• Galvanized steel: The cable is made of galvanized steel, which protects it against corrosion. Dry it after use and wipe it down with oil

The drain cleaning cable with wooden crank is a robust manual drain snake made of galvanized steel. The auger head has a diameter of 30mm, so the ideal working range is 70 to 100mm. At 10mm the cable is flexible enough to be guided over longer distances, and stable enough to work reliably over a length of 10m.

The cable is driven manually by the wooden crank. At its end is a 1/2" WW threaded coupling carrying the funnel auger. This bores out pipe blockages, drawing debris into the inside of the funnel, which makes it particularly suitable for blockages caused by paper and other cellulose, textiles, leaves and sludge. The tool can be exchanged for the three-pronged claw for 10mm cables with 1/2" WW thread, also available from us.
