Chain knocker with changeable ring, 22mm T-Nut

The chain knocker from rak with a 22mm T-Nut for corresponding drain cleaning cables is an absolute professionaldrain cable tool. This version of the popular chain knocker from rak is equipped with a removable ring that guides it through the pipe, ensuring it is optimally aligned in the pipe. This of course severely restricts the ability to bend, which is why chain knockers with a ring is suitable for long, straight pipes. The wide core of the chain knocker is nevertheless flexible. Its increased diameter also gives the chain knocker greater stability. 

The chains of the 22mm centrifugal chain are made of hardened steel, which means less wear and more cleaning power. Set in rotation by the drain cleaning cable, the centrifugal forces cause the chains to lie against the pipe wall, where they remove deposits quickly and effectively. The stable chains are available in a smooth version or as cam chains (with spikes). Compared to a sanitary version such as those from ROTHENBERGER or ROWO, the chain knocker from rak has a longer overall length as well as longer and hardened chains.  In addition, the chain links are shaped in such a way that the chain lies evenly and the links are not offset from each other.  drain cleaning jobs are thus even more effective, as a larger part of the chain works on the pipe wall. This saves you valuable time! The longer chains also allow you to clean pipes with a larger diameter of up to 150 mm without any problems. To keep the 225 mm long drain cable tool as flexible as possible, the spring wire between T-Nut coupling and the head of the tool is wound wide. This achieves greater flexibility.

Another advantage of the chain knocker with ring is that the chains are suspended in the ring and can therefore be changed very easily. This guarantees the longevity of the tool, even if individual chains wear out or break.

chain knockers are an indispensable tool for any pipe cleaning job. The smooth chains are ideal for vitrified clay and plastic pipes, while the cam chains are designed for cast iron and concrete pipes. The sturdy chains are welded to the head and the coupling and have 11 chain links. They can be completely replaced (re-welded), but individual chain links can also be replaced. This guarantees a long service life for the chain knocker. The chains are available from us as spare parts. The chain knockers should only ever be used with reinforced drain cleaning cables (S-drain cables, S-SMK spirals).
