Product information "Transmitter 33 kHz for 38mm camera head"
The 33 kHz transmitter is an optional addition for locating damaged areas for all of our pipe cameras that use the 38mm camera head. The 33kHz locating frequency is suitable for a wide range of pipelines and can be located in the wall and in the ground. The transmitter is not just a way to retrofit a locating function in the camera if the camera head does not have the built-in 512Hz transmitter. Rather, the frequency of 33 kHz is also a good complement to the long-wave 512 Hz frequency, which can be so attenuated in sound pipes, for example, that locating the camera head hardly seems possible. The short-wave 33 kHz frequency can then usually still be located without any problems.
The sonde transmitter is screwed directly into the internal thread of the 38mm camera head, and then onto the sliding cable. With its length of only 50mm, it allows further a good arc passage in 100mm tubes and upwards. The frequency of 33kHz can be located with all common locating devices. We recommend the vLoc3-CAM for locating the camera head, which allows an easy localization due to its simple application.
