Croco chain knocker with carbide, for cast iron, clay, metal and PVC pipe, optional drill head, for 6mm & 8mm shaft

This lightweight Croco chain knocker is designed for thinner shafts and smaller drive sources. It has the same properties as the heavy-duty version, only less weight – so you achieve the same results with less torque.

Cutting action

The chain resembles the X-Tip but differs in the shape of the carbide parts: the teeth of the Croco chain have grooves running in the opposite direction, which makes them less aggressive. That makes it the right choice when preparing a pipe for relining.

It removes rust, scale and tree roots and grinds down obstructions in cast iron, concrete, copper, stoneware and steel pipes. It can equally be used in PVC pipes.

Optional drill head

The drill head carries forward-facing bits of hardened alloy with channels running in the opposite direction. This suits it to clearing blockages and to descaling. Its diameter is 16mm.

Construction

The chain knocker is made from stainless steel to prevent oxidation and is adjustable: spreading the hubs further apart lets you clean smaller pipe diameters as well. Centrifugal force centres the tool inside the pipe, so the entire inner circumference is cleaned.

Each unit consists of three individual chains. The exception is the 32mm and 50mm sizes: these have one or two chains depending on your selection.

This chain suits the Picote Mini Cleaner and Mini Miller, the Milwaukee M18 FUEL High Speed Flexible Shaft Machine and the RIDGID K9-102 and K9-204 FlexShaft® machines, as these use 6mm and 8mm shafts.

For 10mm and 12mm shafts we offer the heavy-duty version of the Croco chain.
