Product description

A blocked drain in the bathroom or kitchen usually sits just behind the trap. That is exactly what this drain cleaning cable is built for: 140cm long including the auger head, 8mm in diameter, with a crank handle for the turning motion. It works in pipes from 50mm internal diameter – the trap and the run immediately after it. For soil pipes and main drains it is too short and too thin.

What sets it apart is the pairing of two tools. The auger head at the tip breaks up the blockage itself; the screw-in brush handles the follow-up. That way the residue that forms the next blockage does not simply stay behind.

The cable is coated in plastic along its whole length, which protects it against dirt and corrosion.

How to use it

Start by removing the screw-in brush and feed the cable into the blocked pipe with the auger head first. Turn the cable using the crank so that the head can wind up hair, paper and other debris. Then pull the cable out of the drain together with the blockage.

For the second pass, refit the brush and feed the cable in again. Pulling and pushing it with the water running brushes the residue off the pipe wall.
